Re: Cornwall
Used to have a girlfriend in Falmouth and a mate in Helston. Nearly moved to Porthleven myself.
Been all over, coast to coast, end to end.
Food and drink is probably the best you'll get in the UK. Some stunning scenery and a big Arts & music scene.
Was in St Ives in August.
The only drawback is work which is why my mate left.

Have a watch of the film Bait, with the King of Kernow. Don’t think they like London blow ins much.

Mum and sister live down there. I went to school down there. Love it.
North coast for body boarding, despite me looking like a whale in the wetsuit. Some amazing pubs and views.
Love it.

Me and a couple of mates have been walking the Southwest Coast Path for a few years, we started in Minehead and have got as far as Newquay. Some of the scenery we have witnessed along the way has been breathtaking, it really is a hidden jewel.
Discovering places like Trebarwith Strand and Boscastle has been an absolute delight.
Fucking tough on the old calf muscles though!

They've somehow managed to turn lands end from a place of natural beauty to a tourist trap cunt fest, shame really. Other than that, lovely county.

My Sister lives in Mevagissy, which is right down the arse end of Cornwall, lovely little town. Plenty of pub/restaurants there. The bloke who owns the Ship Inn, is a West Ham, big old fella too

The Shipwrights in Helford maybe my favourite pub anywhere to sit outside in the sun overlooking the creek.

This doesn't happen very often though. My wife doesn't like me going to Cornwall with her as apparently I am a rain God.

Love the place.
Go there every year for my annual recharge on the north coast.
Body boarding at Widemouth Bay. Constantine Bay and Polzeath. Ride the Camel trail, Garrow Tor. Auntie Avice's pasties, Perseid Meteor shower and the pub in St Kew Highway.
Always does the trick

Re: Cornwall
Used to go there every year for my holidays when I was a lad. Cawsand Bay, Kingsand and a few other seaside towns. Had family there as well.
Now however, many of the old glorious seaside resorts have been ruined by people buying their 'second home by the sea' there, only spending a few weeks there in the summer, and thus ruining the local economies due to no locals being able to live there any more, and the empty 'holiday only' houses meaning very few people are around to support local business for the rest of the year.
